Good chance your rising leaders are looking for development opportunities right now.

Now that I'm spending most of my time with rising Millennial leaders, I'm amazed at how important leadership and professional development is to them.

As one 30-something leader on track to become a CRO within 5 years put it, "I'm doing everything I can to learn from the people in my company. There are no formal development opportunities, so once I learn everything I can here, I have no choice but to find a new job so that I can keep learning. I don't want to leave, but I don't really have a choice if I want to achieve my career goals. Companies say they invest in their people, but they don't."

Though this isn't true for all companies, there is a common need among 20- and 30-something leaders for real, potent development opportunities to help them go faster and be more effective. This is the sole purpose of my company.

In this email, I'm sharing two ways I'm going about this, so that you can decide if you'd like to continue receiving my emails. I hope you'll give them a try for a while, let me know if they're valuable, and send me the topics you want to explore.

  1. Announcing The Leadership Arena Newsletter: A weekly newsletter to equip rising leaders to be the best leaders they can possibly be and accomplish more than ever with their team, starting with how they think. You can check out more or share it with others here.

  2. Launching In the Arena Community: A community exclusively for rising leaders to develop and grow alongside motivated, like-minded peers. You can learn more here.

Nearly every successful leader at the top has gotten there with the support of strong leadership development opportunities. Why not offer the same powerful opportunity to the people in our organizations who can benefit the most?

And this is only the beginning. Over the next few years, I hope to build the most meaningful and impactful community and leadership development organization for 20 and 30-something leaders available anywhere.

If you're a CEO, owner, or executive, you may find the newsletter content valuable in helping you relate, support, and develop your Millennial leaders. You may also choose to forward the newsletter directly to them or offer them a chance to be in the community. We'd be honored if you do!

If you're a rising leader, get ready. I've mapped out a plan for robust content over the next year to help you know what you don't know, gain confidence, and make big leaps forward as a leader. Whether you sign up for the newsletter, community, or both, we're committed to delivering value every single week.

That's it for now.

Can't wait to jump in with you in the New Year! Thanks for reading.
