Sara van Rensburg is a visionary leader with two decades as a CEO, Founder, and owner. She has deep entrepreneurial experience in community-building, stakeholder engagement, leadership growth, organizational design and strategy, and team development. Her ability to create alignment and engagement around a shared vision and strategies is demonstrated in every role, and her contagious energy and intentionality are evidenced in the way she enrolls stakeholders to extend the reach and impact of initiatives and organizations.

Sara’s extensive experience in regenerative leadership and organizational design helps her shine light on areas organizations can improve to create the conditions for far more resilient outcomes. She creatively designs engaging and purposeful conversations and is a skilled facilitator who loves seeing groups engage and connect in impactful ways that build the trust needed to solve big problems and overcome challenges together.
As CEO & President of the Colorado Thought Leaders Forum, Sara led the organization to adopt innovative leadership and community-building strategies, and developed an ecosystem marked by high engagement, consistent revenue streams, a sense of personal ownership among its members, and aligned decision-making throughout all levels of the organization. She also curated and cultivated a uniquely impactful Board of Advisors to support the organization’s growth and strength for a decade.
Sara’s latest venture, Potential Arena, is an individual and team development organization that combines the most powerful elements of peer group transformation with a practical model to help individuals, teams, and organizations unleash far greater potential in a hybrid or virtual work environment. Her work focuses on increasing individual agency, energy, and engagement and equipping people at all levels of an organization with the knowledge and mindsets they need to become a team (and stay a team) and become aligned in doing truly excellent work together.
Sara enjoys paddle boarding, hiking, cross country skiing, and cooking. She and her family—her husband of over 20 years and three teenage children—share a love of learning, adventure, and the outdoors.
